We at Rodel Shibas have been breeding since 1993 and we have started with one line and have slowly progressed that to the dogs you see today. Unlike some breeders who jump from line to line and breed to the next "popular" stud or imports with no history. We've shown patience and examine what dogs have produced, so we know what we will be dealing with. This way we are not dealt with unpleasant surprises. We have dozens of families who have our shibas that are happy, healthy and wonderful lifetime companions. When you call us for a Shiba, we don't take deposits, put you on a waiting list or give you a sales pitch. We first and foremost want to make sure a Shiba Inu is the right breed for you and your family, and help you in your quest, whether from us or somewhere else.
